Aspects of contemporary history and urban space developments within a changing society and its communities are connected in order to negotiate them artistically. The integration of dance studies, body history and the reflection of image cultures also play a central role. In Walking Acts, she developed a photographic practice to reflect on the transience of the present and the loss of cultural artefacts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>CV<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Heike Albrecht directed the Dance\u00a0| Performing Arts Programme at the <strong>LOFFT Theatre<\/strong> in Leipzig from 1999 &#8211; 2002. In cooperation with the Tanzarchiv Leipzig e.V., the international conference <strong><em>Moving Thoughts &#8211; Tanzen ist Denken<\/em><\/strong> took place there in 2000. As artistic director of the festival format Westend, she developed an interdisciplinary platform with the editions <strong><em>Westend 04 Maybe the sky is green and we are just colourblind<\/em> <\/strong>and <strong><em>Westend 05 know your rights<\/em><\/strong>. She curated <strong>Tanznacht Berlin 2006<\/strong> at the Akademie der K\u00fcnste, Berlin and the festival format <strong>Tanz made in Berlin<\/strong>. From 2007 to 2010 she was artistic director of the <strong>Sophiensaele<\/strong> in Berlin. Subsequently\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">she developed the programme series <strong><em>As we speak &#8211; Future languages<\/em><\/strong> for the Goethe-Institut in Ljubljana, Slovenia as part of the European Capital of Culture &#8220;Maribor 2012&#8221;. For the theatre festival <strong>FAVORITEN 2012<\/strong> she was dramaturge\/programme director. This was followed by the artistic direction of the <strong>8th Tanznacht Berlin<\/strong> in a collaboration between Tanzfabrik Berlin and Galerie Ebensperger. At the invitation of the Goethe-Institut Chicago, the photo series <em><strong>Movement Traces<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0was created as part of the residency series <strong><em>A little piece of Bauhaus<\/em><\/strong> and in collaboration with the Fashion, Body, Garment course at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. For the programme series <em><strong>What the Body Remembers. On the Actuality of Dance Heritage<\/strong><\/em>, she was curator at the Akademie der K\u00fcnste, Berlin from 2018-19. In 2021, she co-curated the programme series <em><strong>35 Years of the Environmental Library<\/strong><\/em> at the Zionskirche Berlin. 2020 &#8211; 2021 she has been working with musician, audio archivist Mark Gergis as a project and production manager of the <em><strong>Syrian Cassette Archives<\/strong><\/em> (pilot phase). In 2023\/2025, she initiated the interview and event series \u2018Getting to the bottom of the conditions of humanity and humanism \u2013 Susanne Kerckhoff&#8217;s \u201cBerlin Letters\u201d.\u2019<br \/>\nShe is currently preparing the exhibition \u2018<strong>Susanne Kerckhoff. IT WASN&#8217;T LONG AGO.
